Mother’s Day is Sunday, so I’m sharing a few ideas for those of you who may be hosting! This is also a pretty look for a ladies luncheon, bridal shower, or baby shower. My mom and I both love blue and white, so I went with that as the theme. I wanted it to be elegant, but simple and easily executed.
Favors
When hosting a celebration, it’s always nice to place a “little happy”, as we call it in the South, or favor at each place setting. Here I placed pretty macaron soaps in a gift box from the boutique. You could also use personalized tortoise cuffs as napkin holders or little potted succulents. It’s a nice focal point and sweet gesture.
Centerpiece
For the centerpiece, make one large floral arrangement with smaller ones surrounding it. Here I used chinoiserie bud vases and candles on the sides. You can also fill in with greenery, little wrapped presents, or sweet notes.
Bar
At the risk of sounding corny, I love the idea of a “Mom-osa” bar, and I think your guests will too! All you need is a few different juices and fruit garnishes. If you don’t drink, you could consider having a parfait bar or waffle bar.
