I recently finished a fun E-DESIGN for my client who is settling into a new place. She moved into a beautiful, old redbrick built in the 1920s, and the living room has 2 large bookshelves surrounding the fireplace that needed finishing. She has some books and decor, but wanted help accessorizing and styling. Her walls and furniture are neutral, so we incorporated color into the design. When styling, you want to have balance and diversity in the size and shape of the books and objects that you are placing. Space books throughout the shelves and then add depth by filling spaces in with art and decorative objects. Here are some of our favorite items!
