Do you ever see a room and feel a strong emotional reaction? The Dauphine Suite totally does that to me. I love so many things about it, the beautiful bed from Tara Shaw Maison, monogrammed bedding by Leontine Linens, and elegant fabrics by Schumacher. The list goes on and on, but my most favorite part is the custom wallpaper by deGournay. The Badminton print on silk with white gold and aluminum feather hand-gilding is absolutely breathtaking. Not only that, the terrace is a stunner too (insert heart eyes emoji here).
This gorgeous suite was designed by Houston-based blogger turned designer, Paloma Contreras, for the 2016 Traditional Home Southern Style Now Showhouse in New Orleans. The 2017 showhouse will open in November in Savannah. I can’t see what what’s in store!
