My summer is off to a busy, but fun start! How about you? I’m so excited, because my awesome Los Angeles client and I completed the e-design phase and are on to installations! Their top priority is the formal dining room. They have a traditional dining room and wanted to maintain a grand, formal feel, but add a mix of “Kardashian modern” as she likes to call it. Based on that, we decided on some bold changes: black and copper sisal wallpaper from Scalamandré, a custom black built-in china cabinet, and black doors with white trim. The wallpaper will add a great texture and interest to the high, vaulted ceilings they have. Here’s a peek at the progress pics she sent of the wallpaper and trim. Next up, the built-in china cabinet!
