Today I’m sharing a Neutral Modern Family Room E-Design that was recently finished for my Columbus clients. You may remember their Modern Porch E-Design from a couple of weeks ago. It’s always fun doing multiple rooms and seeing how everything comes together! Their family room is a huge basement bonus room. They already had a large sectional couch, coffee table, and projector TV (lucky, right?!), and we needed to warm up the space. There are big, empty walls so we added two galleries: one with four large abstract prints and the other with ledges where they can create an eclectic gallery. For the seating area, we needed lots of pillows, a couple throws, and a sheepskin rug to make it extra cozy. And we added textured accent tables and adjustable lamps for versatility. Lastly, there’s a kids play area to the side, where we’re adding a large linen covered pinboard for them to display their artwork and family photos. Once everything is finished, it will be a welcoming and relaxing space for the entire family.
