We are headed to Paris tomorrow! I’m really excited, because it will be Raleigh’s first trip to Europe. We made a short list of cities that we thought would be good for his first time and ultimately landed on Paris and London. He knows a bit about them from different children’s books and photos from our previous trips. He’s also shown an interest in art history over the past year (shout out to his awesome art teacher, Mr. Pinciotti), so we thought it would be great to take him to see some of the pieces we’ve been discussing. We have a list of our favorite places that we want to take him, but will be realistic and flexible since he’s still only 6. He did really well on our flight and trip to the Philippines last year, so fingers crossed that happens again!
Since we’ll be gone for a week and a half, packing requires a little more forethought than usual. I want to be cute and comfortable since we’ll be walking a lot and it will be warm. Here’s a look at a few things I packed!
